Dartmouth is situated just south of the English Riviera, across the River Dart from Kingswear.

The towns greatest asset is it's beautiful natural deepwater harbour.

The town lies at the mouth of the River Dart. The river is navigable for 8 miles to Totnes. The river provides fascinating and continually changing types of activity with fishing boats, ferries, yachts and other water craft to entertain onlookers.

The surrounding countryside is notable for its high rounded hills and steep sided valleys, clothed in vegetation.

Dartmouth is an ideal holiday destination right throughout the year with narrow streets, medieval houses, old quays and excellent views.

It hosts a number of specialist shops and has excellent restaurants and Inns. During the summer the town is in full bloom for the Britain in Bloom Competition.
