Kingsbridge is a pleasant market town. The East Portlemouth ferry gets you across the estuary to the beautiful, sheltered beaches of Smalls Cove, Mill Bay and Sunny Cove.The cliff path takes you to Gara Rock.

If you are interest in water sports take the ferry to South Sands where a variety of watersports can be enjoyed. North Sands just a short walk away. Nearby are the high cliffs of Bolt Head. The Overbecks Museum hosts an exotic coastal garden, with many rare plant species from here you will find spectacular views of the Mewstone and Salcombe Estuary
