Woolacombe

Situated on the rugged North Devon Atlantic Coastline, set in a steep valley, the three mile sandy beach at Woolacombe which has attained the Blue Flag and Premier Resort Awards, is ideal for watersports including surfing and body boarding with rolling waves that have built up over several thousand miles of open sea crashing up the beach.

Once Woolacombe was just a farm, today it is a thriving holiday resort with a number of popular tourist attractions including pitch and putt, latest arcade games and fruit machines, crazy golf, hover boats and racing cars to keep the children amused for hours. There are a number of pubs and clubs in the village as well as restaurants, cafes and takeaways selling good food at reasonable prices. A number of festivals are held in Woolacombe throughout the year for your entertainment.
